Cornerstone

How do you convey a total lifestyle, or ‘the business of life" when marketing a $3.5 million mixed-use real estate development to tenants and buyers? That was the main challenge faced by The Alter Group, a commercial real estate firm in Illinois. As a component of a larger marketing straegy, we designed this brochure using paper, imagery, graphics, and the client's copy to communicate the fundamental brand promise and to raise awareness of the Cornerstone development.

jLofts on the Market is a new, mixed use development featuring 55 “new loft style” condominiums in Omaha’s Old Market District. Our assignment was to create a branded identity and develop a marketing strategy to support the overall goals of the project. Ambassador of Hope Campaign

A solid marketing strategy, a memorable brand and precise execution by a dedicated team of Omaha professionals and corporate partners gave way to UNMC Eppley Cancer Center’s most successful fundraiser of the year, the Ambassador of Hope Campaign 2006, featuring the Ambassador of Hope Gala. The objectives of this campaign were to generate maximum awareness and funding for ongoing cancer research at the Center, one of only 60 National Cancer Institute designated Cancer Centers in the country. The campaign was an enormous success, generating nearly $1.6 million dollars for the fight against cancer.

This retailer of world class audio and entertainment equipment opened its doors in the 1960s and needed a brand overhaul to properly align the brand with the company's business activities and aspirations for the next decade. dd|a created the new brand and applied it across all touch points, including a new Web site.

Devenu Medical Rejuvenation Center is a new medical spa serving Omaha since 2006. dd|a was tasked to brand and design Devenu's luxurious offerings and environment. EnTrust Realty Advisors, a Chicago-based commercial real estate investment advisory firm, provides dispositions, acquisitions and financing services for properties valued from $5 million to $50 million. dd|a designed a new identity that represents the heart and soul of the company: clean, streamlined, highly organized, responsive, efficient, and definitely warm. Black connotes a sense of confidence; it is clean and sophisticated.

The Alter Group Holiday Card

Simplicity combined with the intricate architecture of snowflakes sets the tone for Chicago real estate developer, The Alter Group's, holiday card. Using an excerpt of a well known author, the beauty of the holiday message is drawn to life in the letterpress design on warm, cotton paper. Not unlike The Alter Group's vision for each project, this card inspires honest, beautiful design and seniment.

Dunsany Flats

Our real estate developer client, Redimensions, is creating a condominium development in downtown Omaha. A quickly launched but brand rich Web site acts as a teaser and awareness raising device prior to the launch of a marketing campaign. Pushed live immediately after Christmas 2008, it has an excellent page view time average of nearly 3 minutes and nearly 16f visits have come from social media resources, including non-affiliated bloggers.

Fornelli Hall

The Alter Group redeveloped 147,500 SF of space in Chicago's legendary Pittsfield Building as luxury residences for students. After market discovery, we designed the primary brand, Web site, brochure and posters and signage. The Alter Group needed to rent all of the units over the 8 floors prior to the Fall Semester, which goal was achieved.

ALTER CARE works closely with healthcare providers not only to build buildings, but also to build the businesses within those buildings. Our objective in designing this piece was to bring the company’s brand and positioning statement, “Transforming the Nature of Healthcare,” to life through design and imagery.

Omaha Steaks

Omaha Steaks, a nationally renowned food company boasting an outstanding pedigree, notable community heritage and fifth-generation family ownership, was looking to expand its consumer audience and develop a unique, contemporary brand that spoke to a broader consumer landscape and 21st century marketplace. The challenge was to achieve this while honoring significant brand equity and tradition, and retaining a loyal consumer base. The refreshed brand better expresses the “lover” archetype, has eliminated brand fragmentation, and has created differentiation. This has been an important initial step in a continuing evolution of the brand, being implemented in every area of engagement with Omaha Steaks’ customers.
